hey, check it out,
this song's main guitar part is extremely easy to play, and to sing along with, there is
instrument that plays an intro before the actual guitar part comes in...these are only
chords for the main guitarist:
the entire song is: D, Em, G (listen to the song for how to strum it)
Here are all the chord changes, and the lyrics:
(start off strumming for two measures) D
D
Petals broke from tips of roses hidden underneath my arm
Em G
All the framed, different poses of places I'll soon forget
G D
Yeah well I'll soon forget
D
Tell me again that part how you didn't feel a thing or
Em
how you never actually really ever did and
G
lift yourself from my grip
G D
But don't fall asleep
D
Nothing you say can or will ever penetrate
Em
The walls that I... that I, I, I create
G D
When you spew that barage of insulting words
D Em
And know, that it, no it isn't all...
Em G
that it, no it isn't all...
G D
baby, it isn't all...
D
And nothing you, you say
Em G
can or will penetrate
G D
These walls that I create
D Em
That i create
Em G
That i create
D
Five stitches seal the crease From the fit fueled by your aching
Em G
You're so temperamental darling With your little disease
D
Petals broke from tips of roses hidden underneath my arm
Em G
All the framed, different poses of places I'll soon forget
G D
Yeah well I'll soon forget
D Em
And know, that it, no it isn't all...
Em G
that it, no it isn't all...
G D
baby, it isn't all...
D
And nothing you, you say
Em G
can or will penetrate
G D
These walls that I create
D Em
That i create
Em G
I'm happy for you baby,
G (slow down strumming here)D
but I don't wanna know
O.K.,
so, this was my first time contributing to UG,
if you have any questions, comments, advice or just want to say hi, e-mail me...
i look forward to it...

The chords are perfect. And the only problem I found with the lyrics is after it says "with your little disease" there is a line that says "oh how sweet". Good job man!

I noticed the song also adds a variation within the chords (alternating between the open chord and adding a high d note)
so the strumming would go from
[tab]--0--- --0---
--0--- to --3--- and the same with the g chord
--0--- --0---
--2--- --2---
--2--- --2---
--0--- --0---[/tab]
It's a small detail but it would add a nice dynamic to the simplicity of the song
