Capo 3
I use my thumb for the "F#" (the low 2). Pull the "B" off to "A"
or the "A" to the "E" to add some color. More notes at the bottom.

Notes

There’s more than one guitar, and you start hear added notes like this.
I play this down an octave or drop the chord and move my hand up
for a moment.

Capo 3
                    or
---0---7p5-------- ---0---0----------|
---3-------------- ---3---3----------|
---2-------------- ---2---4p2--------|
-0----0----------- -0----0-----------|
------------------ ------------------|
------------------ ------------------|

You might be able to play the flourishes better if you move the
capo to the 8th fret and D chords to A chords.
The problem is you can’t play the G# in the bass

A5 A5/F# A5/G or A2 etc
---------|--------|--------- -------0--2p0---------------|
---------|--------|--------- ---0---0--------------------|
---2---2-|--2---2-|--2------ ---2---2--------------------|
---2---2-|--2---2-|--2------ ---2---2--------------------|
-0----0--|--------|--------- -0----0---------------------|
---------|?----?--|0-------- ----------------------------|

[tab][/tab] In this way, you can hit that low bass note that isn't present in the first chord capo 1 ---------|--------|--------- ---5---5-|--4---4-|--------- ---4---4-|--4---4-|--4------ ---------|--------|--2------ ---------|--------|-0------- -0----0--|4----4--|--------- I also like to play it in a finger picking upwards pattern to get the sound more like the recording
